֥Chocobo Digging֥
Firstly, Chocobos
have hidden skill levels! Just like crafting and fishing~ the maximum level is
lv9!
So, what does the
skill level do? It reduces the delay between digs and even the zone delay
before you can start digging~
Mina was
disappointed… Only delay? However the concern is not the delay between digs,
but rather the delay after zone!
Why?
Chocobo
concept
Let mina explain
the chocobo concept first…
In each zone or
area, there is a “pool” or Mina call it “inventory”.
The treasures that can be dug will be
stored in the inventory.
Therefore there
are limited treasures that can be
dug! That explains why Mina dug nothing after awhile!
For every 1-2 minutes, a treasure will be
added to the inventory!
Now the zone
delay is important as there are competitions~~ If someone else dug up all the
items before you… >< have to wait for 1-2minutes before you can dig one
item T_T
Mina says 3
stacks of Gysahl Greens is enough for one average
chocobo ride~
You don’t have to
sponge your gil for too many stacks as you will dig
mostly nothing ^^;
Each chocobo ride lasts for 30minutes… So if you wait 1 minute for each item,
you can dig up to 30 items!
Once you
understand the chocobo concept, you’ll realize that chocobo riding clothes are
important!

dig items than to wait items to pop in the inventory… is… to…
Follow Goblin Diggers! ^^
Mina didn’t
believe such rumors at first…
But Mina’s
Japanese friend told me to be patient and try it… Mina must emphasize… Patient!
You can find Goblin
Diggers around the center portion of
Mina follows a
Goblin Digger and observed it as it moves around and stops…
Mina gets bored
and waited for about 15minutes ><
Suddenly, Goblin
Digger did something strange!!!!! It turns around and pauses… Then starts
digging something into the ground!!~~ Yes, there is an animation of the goblin
digging~~ Mina was soooo excited and waited at the
position…
After the Goblin
left, Mina dug and she found… a Gold Beastcoin!!!
Mina was so happy~~~~~~~~~
Skill levels
Oh, Mina missed
out an important detail?
Yep, about the
chocobo skills…
Like Mina said,
there are 9 levels to it and there is a “Promotion test” item in order to
proceed to the next level~
If you level up
your chocobo skill, there is no status to show or what so ever… Then how Mina
knows her level?

just take a stop watch and time between digs or zones ^^
Mina asked, how to level up skill??? ??? The answer was… Just
dig~ and dig… and dig more!
You have a dig a
certain amount of “Promotion skill test
item” before you can make it the next level ><
So what are the
items I have to dig to promote? Keep that in mind that it doesn’t mean you have
leveled up your skill when you dug up the item… you have to get plentiful of
them ^^

Mina is all ready
to level up the skills… but where to find these items?
Mina will teach you where ^^ Yuhtunga Jungle will bring your skill up to level 7 if you dig for a very reasonable period of time!! For the final test, you can dig Spirit Grass in Yhoator Jungle~~ Therefore they are all around Kazham ^^
Elemental Ores
Mina heard of a rumor that Elemental Ores can be dug? Those ores can sell up to 200000gil in the Auction House!!
Fortunately… Mina knows how and where to dig them ^^…
So please do not email me to scold me if I made the prices of the Ores down T_T… Mina just want to share~
You don’t need skill levels to dig a rare item, that’s for sure ^^
There are now 5 places where you can dig elemental ores…
Mina knows that you cannot dig them all the time… The elemental ores will pop in the inventory at special occasions…
You need to find a weather forecaster who will tell you about the weather in any of the 3 areas…
What you are looking for… is double weather ^^
For e.g. the weather for Yhoator Jungle for tomorrow will be sunny AND a chance of sandstorm may appear
So when you head towards Yhoator Jungle the next Vanadiel day, you will see a double fire symbol around your clock/map portion… This is when you will get a chance of digging up a Fire ore…
Currently, you can find Earth Ores at East/West Altepa Desert, Fire Ores at Yhoator/Yuhtunga Jungle and Lightning Ores at the Boyahda Tree or Sanctuary of Zi`Tah…

get an elemental ore… Please sell it at a reasonable price and please do not
lower it!֨
